Who is responsible for your data. TEFL Iberia Barcelona S.L., CIF B10610319, Carrer d'Aragó 403, Entresuelo 1º, 08013 Barcelona. Contact: [email protected]. Little Readers BCN is an activity run by this company.

What we collect and why

When you fill in the sign-up form we collect your name, email address and phone number, your child's first name and age, the type of school they attend, and anything you tell us about their reading. We use this to answer your request, place your child in a suitable group, manage enrolment and payment, and send you information about the club. We do not use it for anything else and we do not sell it.

The legal basis is your consent (art. 6.1.a GDPR) and, once your child is enrolled, the contract between us (art. 6.1.b GDPR).

Children's data

The form asks only for your child's first name and age. You provide this information as the parent or legal guardian, and by sending the form you consent to our using it for the purposes above. We do not collect information directly from children. If your child enrols we may ask for further details needed to look after them in class, such as allergies or who will collect them, and we will ask for your written consent before taking or publishing any photograph of your child.

Who else sees it

Providers that process data on our behalf: Cloudflare (website hosting and form handling, EU and US, Data Privacy Framework), Resend (email delivery, US, DPF), Stripe (card payments, only if you enrol) and Zoho (invoicing). We do not share your data with anyone else unless the law requires it.

How long we keep it

If your child does not enrol, we delete your request within 12 months. If they do, we keep the data while they attend the club and for the periods required by Spanish tax and commercial law afterwards.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, to limit or object to its use, or to receive a copy, by writing to [email protected]. You can withdraw consent at any time. If you think we have handled your data badly you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es).
